This lot features a collection of antique carpenter's tools, including two spoke shaves, one marked "BUCH & STRAB," a mallet with a substantial head, two various chisels, a plane, two folding rulers, and three C-clamps, one from "CIN TOOL CO." These tools represent traditional craftsmanship and are ideal for collectors or those interested in historical carpentry.

Request Condition Report
The tools exhibit significant signs of age and use, including heavy surface rust on all metal components, pitting, and discoloration. The plane shows wear consistent with age, with some surface grime and minor imperfections. The handles on the spoke shaves and mallet show signs of wear, including some surface abrasions. The folding rulers are discolored and show rust on their metal hinges. All tools appear structurally intact, but would benefit from cleaning and restoration for functional use.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.

 

* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.

 

* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
