This antique Federal style bowfront chest of drawers features a classic design with a curved front and three spacious drawers. Each drawer is fitted with two brass-toned ring pulls and a keyhole, suggesting its historical design and functionality. The chest stands on splayed feet, typical of the Federal period, and presents a rich, warm finish.
Condition
The chest exhibits significant signs of age and use, including numerous scratches, scuffs, and areas of discoloration on the top surface and drawer fronts. There are visible chips and losses to the finish, particularly along the edges and feet. The brass-toned hardware shows tarnish and wear consistent with age. A small label is affixed to the top surface on the right side.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive postage rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.
* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.
* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
