This collection features seven antique textile mill spools and bobbins, showcasing varied forms and sizes indicative of their industrial use. The set includes three tall, slender spools with fine ridging and four wider bobbins, some with perforated designs and brass bases. They are presented with a complementary storage box, constructed from rich brown panels with metal accents and a functional latch and lock mechanism.

The items exhibit significant signs of age and use consistent with antique industrial equipment. The spools and bobbins have surface wear, scratches, and discoloration. Some have chipped edges and minor material loss. The storage box shows considerable surface wear, scratches, scuffs, and some areas of finish loss. The metal hardware on the box is tarnished and shows oxidation. An auction sticker is present on one side of the box.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.

 

* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.

 

* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
