This refined writing desk is crafted in the Chippendale style. Drawers open from both sides of the desk making it a partners desk. Made of primarily walnut woods. Solid oak secondary wood. Featuring elegant cabriole legs and a polished finish. It is equipped with three drawers, each adorned with ornate brass pull handles, offering practical storage. A protective glass top covers the surface, enhancing both durability and aesthetic appeal.
Condition
The desk exhibits minor surface wear consistent with age and use, including light scratches and small indentations on the legs and frame. The brass hardware shows some tarnish but remains intact. The glass top is in good condition with no visible chips or cracks.
Available payment options
* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost = Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.
* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.
* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and the buyer risks forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
