This lot features three distinct framed art pieces. Included is a signed print by Sybil Shane titled 'Awakening', depicting a stylized bell and striker against a vibrant sunset. A Japanese print featuring two women in traditional attire with calligraphy and a basket of fruit is also part of the collection. The third item is a framed relief sculpture of Hotei, the laughing Buddha, seated on a woven basket.

Condition

Request Condition Report
The Sybil Shane print exhibits minor discoloration to the matting and general age-related wear to the frame. The Japanese print shows slight foxing on the paper and some wear to its frame. The Hotei relief has visible surface wear and minor chips to the gesso on the gilded frame, consistent with age.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.

 

* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.

 

* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
