This exquisite Japanese scroll features a vibrant depiction of Koinobori, traditional carp streamers, symbolizing strength and perseverance. The artwork showcases four colorful koi fish, set against a background of gentle waves and floral elements, indicative of traditional Japanese artistry. The scroll is finished with a textured, brocade-like border and includes a legible signature and seal at the bottom right, suggesting an artist's touch.

Condition

Request Condition Report
The scroll is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. The colors remain vibrant, and the fabric appears well-preserved without visible tears, stains, or significant creases. There are minor imperfections on the reverse side consistent with age. Two temporary inventory stickers are present on the upper border, which should be removable without damage.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.

 

* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.

 

* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
