This framed art piece is a reproduction of John Constable's "A View of Salisbury Cathedral," originally housed in the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. The reproduction is custom-framed by Alden L. Howard, Jr. of Adelphi, Maryland. The landscape painting depicts Salisbury Cathedral with a prominent spire, surrounded by lush trees and a verdant field under a cloudy sky.

The reproduction itself exhibits minor discoloration consistent with age, but no apparent damage. The frame shows signs of wear, including several chips and scuffs to the painted surface, particularly along the edges and corners. The paper backing on the reverse is intact but shows some age-related discoloration and minor creasing. A label from the framer, Alden L. Howard, Jr., is affixed to the back.
