This offering features a pair of framed historical map prints. The first, "Noua Terrae-Mariae tabula" by John Ogilby, is dated 1671. The second print, "A Mapp of Virginia, Maryland" by John Thornton & Robert Greene, is dated 1678. Both prints are reproductions from The Hammond-Harwood House Atlas of Historical Maps of Maryland, 1608-1908, published by The Johns Hopkins University Press in 1982.

Condition

The prints are in good condition with no visible damage or discoloration to the map images themselves. The frames exhibit some minor surface wear, including scratches and scuffs consistent with age and handling. The matting appears clean, and the protective glazing is intact.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost = Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. * For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.

* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and the buyer risks forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
