A distinguished pair of plaster urns, designed in a neoclassical style out of fiber reinforced plaster. Each urn features a flared rim, a robust body adorned with an ornate frieze, and a substantial pedestal base. These pieces are ideal for garden ornamentation or as stately decorative accents.
The urns exhibit significant wear consistent with age and outdoor exposure. The original paint, a combination of black and white, is heavily distressed and flaking, revealing areas of the material below. There are numerous scratches, chips, and areas of discoloration across both pieces. Note chips to the border design on the urn on the right of image 1. Structurally, they remain sound, but the cosmetic condition reflects a well-patinated, weathered aesthetic.
