This set includes six ladder-back chairs, featuring gracefully curved horizontal slats and hand-woven rush seats. The chairs exhibit turned legs and stretchers, characteristic of traditional American or European country furniture. One chair in the set is an armchair, while the other five are side chairs, offering versatile seating arrangements.
Condition
The chairs are in good overall condition with signs of age-appropriate wear. There are minor scuffs and scratches on the frames consistent with use. The rush seats appear intact with some slight discoloration and fraying in areas, but no significant breaks or damage. All joints appear sturdy, and the chairs are structurally sound.
Available payment options
* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive postage rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.
* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.
* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
