Rare Boomerang chairs designed by Alfred Christiansen. Made by Slagelse in Denmark. One arm chair and 6 side chairs. 32" tall x 18.5" seat height x 18" wide x 20.5" overall depth. Fabric upholstered seat cushion is 16" x wide x 16.5" deep. (21.75" overall armchair width, x 25.75" arm height). Fantastic survivors fit for any serious collector.

Good vintage condition. Nothing significantly broken or loose, but the wood could use an oiling; It seems dry. Original upholstery had been replaced but is now current stylistically and clean.

Most chairs have extremely slight wobble when put under lots of force, in at least one of the back stretcher joints. None are broken beyond repair via re-gluing. Can be done at home in an hour. They do not feel extremely wobbly when sitting in them. One chair has possible evidence of a woodworking repair as it is the only leg without a solid teak construction (photo added). It appears to have been done by a quality woodworker with a high level of skill. The joint there is loose, but again this can be re-glued easily, and we do not deem that to be "broken," more of normal signs of aging with 60+ year old chairs.
