This is a Thai mythical lion, known as a Singha, crafted with intricate detailing and finished with a dark patina and gilded accents. The figurine stands on a rectangular base, depicting the creature in a traditional stylized pose often seen in Southeast Asian art and architecture. The piece features detailed ornamentation on its mane, body, and tail, characteristic of traditional Thai craftsmanship.

Request Condition Report
The figurine exhibits visible wear consistent with age, including areas where the gilded finish has chipped, revealing the underlying material. There are minor scuffs and scratches on the patinated surface, particularly on the base and raised decorative elements. The overall structural integrity is sound, with no apparent breaks or repairs. A 'Made in Thailand' sticker is affixed to the bottom of the base, and remnants of other adhesive labels are present on the body, as shown in the images.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.

 

* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.

 

* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
