This collection features three vibrant orange lacquerware trays, each adorned with intricate gold and black designs depicting chrysanthemums and birds. Accompanying the trays are two distinctive lacquer boxes, one a two-tiered square box with a pine tree motif, and the other a single-tiered box with a textured, carved surface and a floral design. This set embodies traditional Japanese craftsmanship and aesthetic, offering functional elegance.

The three orange lacquer trays exhibit significant cracking and crazing in the lacquer finish, particularly visible on the surfaces and edges. The two-tiered orange lacquer box has some visible wear and minor scratches on its exterior, consistent with age. The dark red carved lacquer box and its accompanying tray show some surface dust and minor wear, but no major damage or cracks are apparent. Overall, the set shows signs of age and use.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.

 

* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.

 

* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
