This elegant vintage chest of drawers features a classic Queen Anne style, crafted from rich mahogany wood. The chest is designed with four graduated drawers, each adorned with ornate brass bat-wing pulls and escutcheons, characteristic of the period. The top drawer is slightly shallower, with subsequent drawers increasing in depth. Fluted detailing accents the corners, enhancing its traditional aesthetic. The chest stands on gracefully curved cabriole legs, terminating in pad feet, and features a shell carving on the apron. This piece provides both functional storage and a timeless decorative element for any interior.
Condition
The chest exhibits signs of age and use consistent with its vintage nature. The top surface shows notable wear, including several scratches, scuffs, and areas of finish loss. Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.
* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.
* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and the buyer risks forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
