This antique Federal style chest of drawers features a classic, minimalist design with three graduated drawers. Crafted from wood with a dark reddish-brown finish, the chest is adorned with simple wooden knob pulls on each drawer. The top drawer appears to have a keyhole, suggesting it may have been lockable. The piece rests on a bracket base, characteristic of furniture from the late 18th to early 19th century. Its clean lines and functional form make it a versatile addition to various interior styles, from traditional to rustic.
Condition
The chest exhibits significant signs of age and use, consistent with its antique nature. There are numerous scratches, scuffs, and areas of finish loss across the top and drawer fronts, particularly on the upper drawer where a large area of wear is visible. * For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.
* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and the buyer risks forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
