This antique Federal style flip-top card table features a demilune form when closed, opening to a square playing surface. The piece is supported by four elegantly fluted, tapered legs, reflecting the refined aesthetic of the Federal period. Its rich, dark finish highlights the grain of the material, making it a functional and decorative addition to any space.

The table exhibits significant signs of age and wear. There is a large crack and loss of material on the apron, visible in the detailed images. The top surface shows numerous scratches, scuffs, and areas of finish loss consistent with its age and use. The hinges appear intact, allowing the top to flip open, but the overall structure shows instability. There are also various nicks and chips along the edges and legs. A temporary label and tape are present on the top surface but are not permanent damage.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. * For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.

* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
