This antique treadle scroll saw features a robust cast iron construction, indicative of late 19th to early 20th-century manufacturing. The piece is marked Lewis Bros. of Seneca falls, NY on its red-painted frame, identifying its maker. It is mounted on an ornate black cast iron stand with a foot-operated treadle mechanism. No saw blade is visible.

The scroll saw exhibits significant signs of age and use, including rust, paint loss, and surface grime across all metal components. The top surface shows heavy wear and discoloration. The foot treadle and associated mechanisms appear intact but are heavily oxidized. The item is in unrestored, antique condition, reflecting its operational history.
