This collection features four sets of vintage bookends in various styles. The lot includes a pair of solid bronze sailing ships marked "NBY", a brass-tone pair depicting "Mr Pickwick Entertains", and a bronze-tone set with portraits of Henry W. Longfellow. A fourth set, made of SyrocoWood, is a mismatched pair featuring a scribe and a stagecoach scene.
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. The Longfellow pair shows notable finish wear and oxidation. The solid bronze ships and Mr. Pickwick pair exhibit a natural patina and minor surface marks. The SyrocoWood bookends are a mismatched pair; they show some light scuffs and one is missing its bottom felt. Please see images for details.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive postage rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.
* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.
* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
