This collection features a hand-carved bowl crafted from New Zealand Swamp Kauri, estimated to be 4,000 years old, by artist Wayne Ross from Ngaruawahia, New Zealand. Accompanying the bowl is a set of two intricately carved bookends, one a fixed-base decorative stand and the other an expandable model with floral motifs. The bookends exhibit detailed relief carvings and a rich, dark patina.
The New Zealand Swamp Kauri bowl is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant abrasions, showcasing the natural grain and finish. The fixed-base carved stand shows minor surface wear consistent with age, but no major damage. The expandable carved bookend set has some surface scratches and minor edge wear, with the hinges appearing functional. All items retain their original finish and show an appealing aged character.

* After the auction, Please arrive within the two day pickup time by appointment, or request shipping in that time. Shipping cost= Handling + Postage (usually UPS or USPS). Handling fees for in-house shipping is (per lot): $15 for small lots, $40 for art and furniture. We use Shippo.com to get you the most competitive postage rate possible. Shipments are processed the week after the auction sells. For local pick up, Follow the signup link we will email you after the auction to let us know when you'll be arriving. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder first, then email info@fairauctionco.com to have it resent.
* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.
* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
