This vibrant folk art print of an original painting by Parks Duffey, dated 1990, depicts a lively scene along Monument Avenue in Richmond, Virginia. The artwork captures the iconic equestrian statue surrounded by various festivities, including hot air balloons, a ferris wheel, and carousels, set against a backdrop of historic buildings and lush landscapes. The piece is presented in a classic frame with a dark mat, highlighting its colorful details and whimsical charm.
The painting itself appears to be in excellent condition with no visible signs of damage, fading, or discoloration. The colors remain vibrant and true. The frame exhibits minor surface wear consistent with age, including a few small scuffs and scratches, but remains structurally sound. The protective glazing is clear with no noticeable scratches.
