This vintage dagger features an ornate metal handle and a matching scabbard, adorned with intricate floral and figural motifs. The scabbard is accented with a central panel of red velvet, intricately woven with metal cording. The blade is inscribed with the Greek word "ΕΛΛΑΣ" (Hellas), indicating a Greek origin for this decorative piece.
The dagger and scabbard exhibit significant signs of age and wear. The metal components show heavy tarnishing, discoloration, and areas of surface oxidation. The red velvet inlay on the scabbard is faded and shows minor wear. The blade has surface scratches, pitting, and areas of dark residue, consistent with age and previous handling. There is a chain connecting the dagger handle to the scabbard, which appears intact.

* For items which remain un-claimed beyond the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning the next Tuesday following the pickup window.
* We will not assume a buyer requires shipping for any reason. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to info@fairauctionco.com, and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture.
